Jan 7, 2016 9:08 AM in response to sandrafromstlby Luis Sequeira1,★HelpfulYou use Migration Assistant (which is in /Applications/Utilities) to import users and data from Time Machine.
Migration Assistant lets you chose what to bring back - consider NOT restoring applications, and instead redownload from the App Store or the appropriate developer sites. This gives you the opportunity to only install fresh versions of only the applications you actually need. Old applications often cause trouble, or just sit there wasting drive space.
