Struggling to send/receive texts since update iOS 9.2 iPhone C

since I have updated my iPhone 5C to iOS 9.2 I struggle to send/recie texts, they dissappear or do not send. also my apps constantly crash!! has anyone got my ideas of how to resolve? Thanks in advance!!
