Q: I just bought an iPhone 6 and it has the newest version. The problem is, even though I have my cellular data in it won't connect to the internet. I have read that this is a problem with the new version. Help?

Why won't my iPhone 6, with the latest version not connect to the internet even though my cellular data is turned on?

Can you connect to the internet, using Wi-Fi?
Did you already try the troubleshooting mentioned in this article?
If you can't connect to a cellular network or cellular data - Apple Support

Yes- I can using Wi-Fi. I did do all of the steps described but still cant connect. On my old phone,a 5s, I never had this problem. I am a teacher and I choose to use my data because our Wi-Fi has just about everything blocked.

If you go to Settings/Cellular, and Cellular Data is enabled, are you using 3G, 2G or LTE? Start by switching to 2G or 3G.
