No printers show up on printer list

OK, this one has me stumped. My printer, an Epson Artisan 725 was acting up so I thought I would reinstall the drivers to get it back to speed. Well, went to the System Preferences-->Printers pane and deleted the Artisan. Then I clicked the "+" button, and no printers show up on the list at all. So I go online and download the 1.2 GB Epson Printers File on the Apple website. I restart my computer and go to the Printer pane, and still nothing. How is it my computer says there are no printers available? I check the status window on the Epson printer and it shows that it is connected to my WIFI network.

I have a lot of printing I need to get done. Any suggestions? I'm on an iMac Intel Core i5 running 10.10.5.

Thanks!

A bit more information. I went to the printer and reset the connection to my network. The printer then printed a connection results page that showed the printer was connected to the network and had excellent connection to the network.

I did try to use the IP address to connect, and the computer was able to correctly identify the printer, but when I tried to set it up, I kept getting an error message.
