Q: Importing iMovie movie from iPad to iMovie on Mac

Hi, could someone please tell me how i can transfer an iMovie created on my iPad into my iMovie on my MacBook. Please only give advise about the latest version of iMovie (OS X El Capitan version 10.11.2). Appreciated
