Cannot music stream via bluetooth (iOS 9.2)

Up until the latest iOS update, my iPhone 6s would connect happily via Bluetooth to my Land Rover Discovery HSE (MY13) entertainment system.

All phone functions worked through the Land Rover (LR) touch screen system and I could stream both music and audiobooks via the LR system audio interface and the Bluetooth link between iPhone and vehicle.

Since iOS 9.2, the phone still connects to the car via Bluetooth and the phone functions work; however, the audio part of the LR system can no longer 'see' the phone connected via Bluetooth and therefore, I cannot stream music or audiobooks.

I have deleted my phone from the Bluetooth memory of the car and also deleted the car from my phones Bluetooth settings and relinked the device on two separate occasions - this did not resolve the problem.

I assume this is yet another glitch in the latest iOS?

Does anyone else remember a time where Apple were the ones that didn't release buggy software onto the public, unlike Microsoft?

I didn't sign up to being a beta tester, I purchased yet another premium priced product from a company who used to make premium quality products.

Frustrating! 😠
