reinstalling live type

I started having problems running live type, so I uninstalled the software and tried to reinstall it by itself. When I go threw the install disk, click on custom, there is 3 check boxes for FinalCut Express, Soundtrack, & Live Type, but it will not let me select Live Type to install it, only the other 2 boxes & it says upgrade. What do I need to do to get Live Type back on my computer?

If there's anything in the /Library/Receipts/ folder relating to any component of Final Cut, drag that receipt to the desktop and then try installing LiveType again. Regardless of whether or not you were able to reinstall LiveType, move the receipts on your desktop back to the Receipts folder unless each receipt was recreated during the installation.

Another option is to use Pacifist to extract the LiveType components from the installation disk.
