parallels doesnt see CF card reader

I am running the latest version of Parallels with Windows XP.

I need to use a CF card, but when insert the CF card, it appears on the Mac and then appears on the Windows as a "shared Drive". Unfortunately, the program that needs to access the card doesn't see it as "removable media" and therefore won't recognize it.

I tried unchecking "Share all discs", but then I dont see it at all on the windows side. I tried unchecking "Map drives to windows", but again no joy.

I know others have used CF cards without issues in this configuration with the same software (Jeppesen JSUM and JDM).
