Jan 8, 2016 3:44 PM in response to Nielby rccharles,Is the 200 limit part of apple mail or is it an isp limit? I'm surprised that mail has a limit. I'd figure the isp would limit things.
You can switch to a different email app... I use thunderbird.
I use mailchimp.*** for mail campaigns. Free for a reasonable number per month.

Jan 8, 2016 3:08 PM in response to rccharlesby Niel,It's imposed by the iCloud servers. An ISP doesn't have any control over the number of messages sent through other people's servers.

Out of curiosity: what is a "mail campaign"?

Jan 8, 2016 3:34 PM in response to ChitlinsCCby rccharles,I didn't read the op's message closely enough .
With mailchimp.com you create a group of recipients. When you send an email to the group, it is called a campaign. mailchimp is designed for users to do marketing campaigns. Small charities use it because it is free. Should mailchimp receive too many complaints of spam, your account gets x'd.
Beats having your own account marked as a spammer.

Jan 8, 2016 4:24 PM in response to babowaby ChitlinsCC,I see the difference between an email marketing campaign and SPAM this way...
- email Marketing target a list of existing customers that have agreed (by specific consent) to be included in receiving such things
- SPAM is indiscriminate - likely roboticized - blast 'em out and hope one bites
Apple has check boxes on Create Apple ID page for just such agreements
Charities nearly always must use email campaigns because of lack of budget - I would want a charity I give to to be frugal and use the money they get for the charity's targeted needs
Sole proprietorships are in much the same boat - no marketing $$ when you live from project to project
