Q: iMovie Clip import from SD doesn't work

Hi,

 

I imported the video clips from my camera SD (Panasonic HC-X929) a thousand times already... Today I tried again and it doesn't import them anymore. It didn't even give me a feedback why or any message, so I cannot give you more information on it. It just doesn't work anymore (button "Import all" is active).

 

Does anyone have the same problem?

    I still have the problem... just copied the AVCHD file to my local file system and tried to import it in iMovie -> same result: No failure and no message at all, but it still doesn't import it.

    I made a work around by importing the videos through Photos, exporting them into the filesystem and reimporting into iMovie... This cannot be the final solution for me

    Does anyone have the same problem? It definitely a iMovie thing, I am on the latest version...
