Jan 8, 2016 11:52 AM in response to rjmobileby Kenichi Watanabe,When you sign in using your Apple ID, the iTunes Store knows if you previously purchased a particular song. So you can't buy the same song again, intentionally or by mistake. Most customers would consider that a good feature... Is there a reason why you want to buy the same song again?

Jan 8, 2016 11:51 AM in response to rjmobileby Chris CA,Don't think it is possible without using a different AppleID?
Why would you want to repurchase it?

Jan 8, 2016 12:03 PM in response to rjmobileby Chris CA,If it's a different version, you can repurchase it. It will show Buy.
If it's not a different version, just delete what you have then redownload it.See this -> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201272

Jan 8, 2016 12:05 PM in response to rjmobileby Kenichi Watanabe,I think it's the same song file (with different "marketing"). If you believe it is different, go to iTunes Store Purchased screen (click Purchased along right side of main iTunes Store screen). On the Purchased screen, where you can download previous purchases for your Apple ID, make sure that song is listed there so you can download it again. Then, go to your iTunes music library and Delete it. Go back to the Purchased screen and download it. You'll get the current version of song file.

Jan 8, 2016 12:13 PM in response to Kenichi Watanabeby rjmobile,Easy, all the new songs (under file) indicate Mastered For iTunes...previously purchased do not have the indication and a different copyright date

Jan 8, 2016 12:21 PM in response to rjmobileby Kenichi Watanabe,Easy, all the new songs (under file) indicate Mastered For iTunes
Where is that, exactly? If it's on the Get Info window for the song, which field has this info?
If you have the "new songs," does that mean you already did a Complete My Album to buy the rest of the album?
-
Jan 8, 2016 12:37 PM in response to Kenichi Watanabeby rjmobile,That's right...all the newly MASTERED FOR iTUNES...EXCEPT the one song I previously purchased it's Not. That's indicated in INFO (under the FILE tab)
It's becoming CLEAR there is no real way to BUY a New Album version...seems you're stuck with what you have previously purchased.
In older versions of iTunes that was NOT the case...When buying an album, you could select buy the entire album again or Complete My Purchase.
Seems simple...but nothing is simple with Apple anymore...User friendly is NOT an option anymore...Just take a look at the mess of iTunes on you iPhone
THANK YOU, Rick

Jan 8, 2016 12:48 PM in response to rjmobileby Kenichi Watanabe,Since you now have the complete album, try deleting the complete album from your music library. Make sure it no longer appears listed in your music library at all; if the entry is still there (because of iCloud Music Library from Apple Music or iTunes Match), supporting data for the song (such as that info in Get Info window) will not change when you re-download the song.
On the Purchased screen, show it using the Albums view, and download the complete album. See if that makes a difference.
