Q: Disable Automatic Menu Dropdown in Full-Screen Apps
I am using Splashtop and I am looking into streaming games from my gaming PC over onto my Mac. For those who think this is a bad solution, I have tried the following:
- Hosting a VPN connection on my PC so I can connect to it while I am outside on my Mac. Therefore tricking Steam to let me "In-Home Streaming" while my Mac is outside. However, I could not find what the "Shared Secret Key" is (please tell me what this is anyways, thanks)
- Using Moonlight/GeForce streaming and port forwarding to play on my Mac. While this does work at home, it fails when I am outside on both my iPhone and Mac.
- Using VMWare, too laggy...
- Using Bootcamp, too laggy...
- Using Parallels, too laggy...
So Splashtop is my current solution. However, when I play a game, the top menu bar of my mac keeps dropping down when I move my mouse upwards during a game. This is now getting on my nerves as I have tried over 4 solutions and none of them seems to work.
I have tried doing this:
However, when I change the "Normal" value to "All Suppressed", it just auto reverts itself.
