I am still transitioning from my pc to my new mac. I have loads of pictures downloaded from both dropbox and emails. These photos are listed in my downloads file. However I need to create a flyer and when I go to add photos, none of my photos are listed. I tried to drag the photo to the photo icon but got the message that the file cannot be moved to photos. Please help!
Are the photos in the Downloads folder on your Mac?
have you tried going to Photos (the app)>File>Import and then navigating to the downloads folder?

Yes!!!! that worked! I didn't realize I had gotten a response!! Thanks so much!! The macbook pro was about to be launched......across my living room.
