Q: Why can't I update the "Shared Payment Method"?

I am trying to add a member under "Family", but I am being asked for the CVV of an old debit card ehich I no longer have.

I updated the iCloud account, the App Store, iTunes payment information, but that "Shared" payment method is not even editable anywhere it appears.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.2

    Hi mayrafrommesquite,

The resource below explains how to update the billing information associated with your Apple ID.  Once you add a new credit card, you should be able to delete the old debit card on the account.  If you continue to have issues, contact the iTunes Store Support team.

    Update your payment information

You can change your payment information for your Apple ID on your device or through iTunes. This payment information is the same as what you use to buy apps, music, and iCloud storage.

To change your payment information on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, follow these steps:

    1. Go to Settings > iCloud.
    2. Tap your Apple ID. If asked, enter your Apple ID password.
    3. Tap Payment.
    4. Update your payment information and tap Next.

To change your payment information on your Mac or PC, follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to your Apple ID account page.
    2. Below Payment, click Add a Card or click Edit.
    3. Update your payment information and tap Save.

You can also change your payment information in iTunes on your Mac or PC.

For more information or help, visit Apple Support.

    Take care,
