Q: GarageBand nonfunctioning after updating to iOS 9.2 on iPad3

Since I updated to iOS 9.2 on my iPad 3 I have not been able to play or record on GarageBand.  When I try to record using my Apogee One mic, I get a crackling sound.  I  contacted Apogee about this a week ago and have no solutions from them.  Today I thought I would try again.  When I launched GarageBand I got a message saying "Core Audio is not available"  When I try to play a GB project nothing happens.  The track cursor jumps ahead and I hear nothing. These are songs I recorded before updated to 9.2.  Does Apple have a fix for this yet?

Apogee have now confirmed that Apogee One does not function with Ios9.2 and they will advise registered users when they have created a fix. Current position is only stable up to ios9.1

I had this problem too and ended up approaching the Focusrite technical staff. (I am using the Focusrite iTrack Solo unit with GB).

This is their answer to me: "There is a known issue with the Apple iOS 9.2 software that can cause glitches, delays and general audio issues when using a number of brands audio interfaces via the lightning connector on your iPad.

This is likely to be the issue in this case, and it is something that we (as have many companies) raised with Apple in order to try and resolve."

    Hope this helps
