Hello, hope someone can help me solve this problem. Just set up my new iPad Air and everything worked just fine including FaceTime. I was able to FaceTime family at least one time without any problem. Today when I tried to sign into FaceTime the app took me too a screen asking for my Apple ID for verification. When I typed in my Apple ID it failed and stated unable to verify. The same thing happens with Imessaging. I tried all types of things like checking internet connection, my account on apple to make sure my name and password were correct and went through FaceTime in settings to see if that would make a difference. Nothing is working. The only thing I can think of is I didn't apply a paymlent method to my iPad when I set it up. Would this effect the verification process as far as my Apple ID is concerned? Also, my Apple ID is not based off of an apple email account. Would this have anything to do with this problem? How can I fix this? I just don't understand how it could work one day and then all of a sudden stop. My Apple ID and password works fine when downloading free apps. Any ideas? Thanks so much!!
