Apple Music drains battery after cancelling subscription

My iPhone 6 battery life has dropped dramatically since I cancelled my free 3-month Apple Music subscription. Not only is the total charge lasting far less than it did in the past, but at certain times of the day the battery life will drop from 90 to 70, 50 to 1, etc. Yesterday as soon as I opened Apple Music Radio, it dropped from 50 to 1. I've taken the iPhone to the Apple Store and they've confirmed that the actual battery is fine, but they saw that there were these dramatic drops throughout the day. They reset the entire device, and I reinstalled everything and it still does it. Then I did a complete erase and reinstalled my software treating it as a new phone; same problem keeps happening. What can I do?

Thanks.

Is no one else experiencing this issue? After all of my many trips to the Apple Store, they just gave me a new iPhone. And while the problem is not as pronounced, my battery is still draining very fast. After less than 12 hours of relatively light use, I'm down to 15% battery. Apple Music took 37% of my battery, and Podcasts took 24%. Any ideas of what is going on?
