Q: Change Admin and password and e-mail act

I have an old Ibook G4 and want to give it to a friend in need. I have deleted everything of importance on it and emptied the trash. I cannot seem to remove the e-mail account on it which really doesn't matter as it is defunct anyway. I also cannot remove the admin and password on it. Any suggestions?

G4 Ibook, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

If you do not have the install disks for that computer, you would need to have an admin account and password for whoever uses it. In system preferences accounts, you can change the password, if it is one you still use. In the mail account, preferences, accounts you can click on the account in the left box and delete it. If you have the install disks you could just boot to that use the disk utilities option to erase the disk and reinstall everything and leave it at the starup screen.
