I have somehow gotten a version of Safari on my MacBook Pros that is intended for an OSX system above 10.10 so it does not work on my 7.5. Can I again get a Safari that will work on my 10.7.5 and get rid of the Safari 10.10 version?ersion

I have a Safari meant for MacPro version 10.10 on my version 7.5 computer. It won't work and can't be deleted. How can I get back to a Safari for my 7.5 machine?

Mac Pro, Mac OS 8.6 or Earlier, Mac OS 7.5

I have MacBook Pro 15 inch late 2008 Serial # W8848JN61G0 Mac OSX Lion 10.7.5. Apparently it does.

Ha ha... 7.5 is quite different then 10.7.5

You may have to reinstall your OS X 10.7.5 to get your Safari back. There is no stand alone Safari 6.0.4/Safari 7.0.1 (?) for your vintage.

I would not download from any third party source- they are known to include adware if not malware add on's, you will get more than you bargained for.
