Q: Split view driving me crazy. Make the jumping blue borders stop!

I have used El Capitan split view and initially liked it. However it seems to have a really unintuitive feature which results in jumping blue borders around Safari and every other window. The windows bounce around when I move my mouse, when I hold my mouse still, and randomly. It seems unusable. The esc key seems to only give temporary relief.

I have disabled everything in Mission control. It's almost like an annoying virus has taken over the screen.

Ha! I solved my problem. I have a Logitech mouse. Somehow in the settings of the mouse, the "lower thumb button" was accidentally set to activate mission control. Every time my thumb brushed down on that button may screen would go wonky.

    Solved!
