Q: How to download iCloud photo library and videos to mac?

I have iCloud photo library turned on with my iPhone and on my mac the Photos photo stream does download all photos and add them to my Photos on my iMac but the videos do not download. So I was thinking what if I simply want to restore all of my iCloud photos in the cloud to my iMac? Or any other computer? How do I do that?

    Photo Stream does not work with video. See the quote below from My Photo Stream FAQ - Apple Support


    My Photo Stream supports JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and most RAW photo formats. My Photo Stream doesn't work with video.

     

    If you open Photos on your Mac and then open Preferences and click iCloud at the top of the Preferences window, you can turn on iCloud Photo Library on your Mac. That does support videos.
