Basically the problem is that my MacBook Pro OS X El Capitan version 10.11.2 not recognized the mixer Persons Studio Live 16.4.2, What can i do resolve this problem??
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), connected by Firewire 400
1/ after you install the universal - it requires a reboot.
2/ then go into audio midi setup on the mac
3/ select show midi and you should see this.....
If you don't see it ( then logic won't see it). If it is not there, then go up to the configuration drop down and select new configuration and then you should see it.
If you don't - then you will have to call Presonus or Apple - if you do, then in Logic-Preferences-Audio you should be able to select this device as its input / output or both.
Go to the presonus site because it's not a problem with Logic.
Have you installed the latest Studiolive drivers from the Presonus site?
Are you sure the Studio Live is not recognized by El Capitan, have you gone to Utilities Audio-MIDI Setup? Does it show up there.
If it does Show have you set Logic's Preferences/Audio Input/Output device to use the Studiolive interface. Use Logic's preferences.
If it doesn't show up in Logic's Audio preferences under the drop-down menu of audio devices then you will need to check the Presonus site for compatibility with El Capitan.
El capitan requires 1.7.3 of the universal control software.... you can download and install it from here.

I use the the Studiolive 16.0.2 and it did not work after the El Capitan upgrade. Once I upgraded to 1.7.3 all worked correctly.

There is a drop down menu if you click and hold under Logic's Audio Preferences if it's not there I would try installing the Drivers once more, if no luck head over to the Presonus Website... they are Mac people and should be able to help.
Thanks for the info. I've been scared to upgrade El Capitan, I don't want to loose the compatibility with my Presonus gear or Logic. Good to hear of success! I have the 16x4x2 Presonus StudioLive as well.

Thanks every one, the problem is resolved, i install all versions in order from 1.2 to 1.7.3 an too install the latest actualizations of El Capitan, and thanks to God all is normal now! blessings!!
I Am using El Capitan and logic 10.2.1. With the latest drivers from presonus - it all works fine No problems
How can I get Presonus Studiolive 16.4.2 to work on El Capitan and logic pro x?
