Q: MBPr mid 2014 WiFi Issue

Hello

I have a peculiar problem. my WiFi Card is struck at locale of Indonesia! This restricts me not to find 5Ghz channels in Ireland where I live

1. I have tried all options of OS Re-install, SMC / PRAM reset etc.

2. Tried every possible Googled option of WiFI issue fix :-)

in my vicinity there are no ID related WiFI routers, Checked with some other devices as well. All my other devices work very well with 5GHz AC WiFi router but my MBPr doesn't find it at all. I had tried even deleting Drivers as per some posts - no luck. It always shows my card as ID and many channels but 5GHz I am not able to find.

attached are screen shots if any one can pin point the issue. Unless some one tells me my CARD is manufactured for Indonesia region - which I am not sure and haven't heard anytime before. It is true I had bought the macbook while I was travelling in indonesia, but it should restrict the country code change. I am not sure if I need to change WiFI Card itself? that will mean either broken WiFI Card or some goofy in the MBPs. my 2.4Ghz and BT work excellent and no issues at all.

Thanks
