I Have purchased a number of audio files online which I then need to download from amazonaws. How do I download and store these files on my ipad4 as I don't want to save then on iCloud as I want to listen to the files anywhere I am and often away from any internet connection. Advice how i do this would be appreciated

If you want them in the Music app you will need to download them on your computer, add them to your computer's iTunes library (File > Add To Library), and then sync them to your iPad
I am on the road, no computer access, just iPad. Do I need an app?
You've checked your country's App Store for an Amazon music app that allows you to play your Amazon purchases ? You won't be able to get the music into the iPad's Music app without a computer.
Amazon provides an app on computers that will download your purchased music and put it in your iTunes library.
You then sync them over to your device.
Amazon also provides an app for ios. I know it allows streaming.
I do not know if you can download the music into the app.
The app on ios will not put the music into the Apple music app.
Guess ipad is not good for the road. Won't get home for many more weeks
