MacBook 'Enter' key

My nice new MacBook 12" has two symbols on the Enter key - the usual arrow at the top, but also a line above a fulcrum below it.

Does the second symbol relate to a second function of the key - I can't find any info on it anywhere?

The key has two 'functions' — Return + Enter. To use as the 'Enter' key hold the function selector key [fn] and press [Return] key.

One place where you will need it 😉 is in Pages if you want to insert a new page (this one used to drive me crazy) you need to press [Enter] not [Return] — so [fn] [Return] — to insert a page break.
