Camera models not showing in smart album pulldown

I am trying to create a new smart album based on camera model using Photos on El Capitan. When I have done this in the past, I select Camera Model and Is, and the pulldown shows a complete list of all the camera models I have used to take all the photos in my library over the years, e.g. various iPhone models, SLR, GoPro etc. Now in Photos this is not happening. Instead I get a few version numbers as shown in the screen shot. I'd appreciate any tips to resolve this.

When you use the camera model constraint the first time, the list of camera models will be created. It will take a while for the list to populate with all camera models used in your library. Just wait a bit.


What are your settings in System Preferences > General > Show scrollbars?


The panel with the camera models is scrollable, there is a scrollbar to the right. But if you did not enable scrollbars to show always, you may not notice, that you can scroll down to see more camera models.

If the scrollbars are disabled from showing, the panel will not show any indication, that the list is longer:
