    Force quit Safari (cmd-option-esc). If the behavior persists download and install MalwareBytes  Malwarebytes was developed by one of our own colleagues here in ASC. It gets rave reviews and is about the most proven anti-malware software for Mac.

    Hi macjack, I have MalwareBytes when I ran the scan everything came back okay but it was still doing it? feather6868

    Anything else I can try to fix this problem?  What can I do to make my mac run faster? I don't have allot on my PC except allot of duplicated pic's...How can I make my mac run faster? thanks feather6868

    If this issue is new, tell us what immediately preceded its onset - add software, upgrade or update? New equipment?

    after you post your Story, take a look at > Using EtreCheck | Apple Support Communities < download the App from the link at the top and WAIT for instructions to run it and post the report.

    also, you could try a different BROWSER than the one at issue and see if the problem persists
