iPad 3 charges slow

HEllo my friend's iPad 3 is charging slow even when it's off. Do u guys have any clues?

p.s. The iPad charges with a third party cable and usb power adapter

Try using an Apple one, or at least make sure the one being used is made for the iPad. -AJ
