Q: No Flash On Activity option in Airport Utility

There is no Flash On Activity option in Airport Utility anymore. What happened to it???

Apple removed the option....along with a number of other features......well over 3 years ago in AirPort Utility versions starting in the Lion (10.7.x) operating system. Apple calls this an "upgrade".

 

If you still have a Mac running Leopard (10.5.x) or Snow Leopard (10.6.x) or a PC running AirPort Utility for Windows, you still have the option to have the indicator light "Flash on Activity".

    Thanks Bob. I wasn't sure if it was Apple or a glitch somewhere after seeing they didn't even bother to update the info in their instructions or their help/support areas online.
