firewire can't recognize devices
What do I have to do with this warning:
Firewire devices can't be displayed???
I can't open my interface with a firewire connection?
Help!!!

Go to the menu with the option/alt key held down and select System Information (first item - it may have a different name). Select the Firewire entry. Does anything show there? If not, you probably have a hardware problem.
