iPhone 6S+ bluetooth will not pair with Mac Book Pro. Both devices have the most recent software updates. I am receiving the pairing code and I am selecting pair devices, and the Mac Book says pairing unsuccessful. Any suggestions?

I have the iphone 6S. I have the same issue. The customer service reply doesn't make sense. My 6S is supported for all Bluetooth profiles according to the link. Two weeks ago I had an iphone 6 that paired just fine and would update/mirror all my text messages I send so I know that it has worked.
