HD speed

Does anybody know where I can find information about the speed of my HD? I can only find the name of the HD, but not its speed.
Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for the postings here. The model number of my HD is
FUJITSU MHV2080BHPL
I tried to find its speed using google, but I couldn't find anything about it.
I was asking this question because my macbook was vibrating everytime I used it. It was replaced by apple and the new one has the same problem. So, I was thinking that maybe, it is a common thing for macbooks to vibrate... maybe it is because of the HD speed being to high...

Your welcome 🙂

I just found that it is an 5400 RPM

I was asking this question because my macbook was
vibrating everytime I used it.

Are you sure that this is a vibration? Do you use 2 pin plug? I am asking this, because if you do not use the 3 pin plug, you can experience some tingle because your MBP will not be grounded. So you will have some leakage current (very very low indeed) on the chasis, as this is an aluminium case. So,you can feel it like a vibration when you move your hand/fingers on the case. If you use it with 2pin plug, try 3 pin plug. You can also check if this vibration exists on battery power.

If the vibration also exists with 3 pin plug but disappears on battery, this means that the outlet you use has some grounding problems. Try another outlet.

If the vibration exists in all cases, I suggest you to go to nearest apple service. The vibration is not normal.

It was replaced by
apple and the new one has the same problem. So, I was
thinking that maybe, it is a common thing for
macbooks to vibrate... maybe it is because of the HD
speed being to high...

Thanks again for the posting.
I always use the 3-pin plug, I think it is important to do that.
The vibration is always there. My macbook arrived in the beginning of November. Apple gave me a new one because of the vibration problem. The new one arrived this week. It has the same vibration problem. I believe it is because of the kind of HD used.
Thanks once again!
