Can Apple Watch sync with the FitBit app so that I can maintain the community and competion it offers?

The Fitbit app presently only syncs with Fitbit's line of activity trackers and does not include support for Apple Watch.

Someone suggested an app called, if I recall correctly, Match Up that may do what you want.

You can also try running the FitBit app on your phone and have it use the motion co-processor to record data.
