iMessage not synchronizing across all devices

I use iMessage on multiple devices and cannot figure out how to manage my messages so that when I delete a message from one device, that message deletes from all devices. I spent way too much time, manually deleting message streams from the various devices. Why doesn't it work like an email imap account? Or am I missing something...

Hi all,

There is now a specific Feedback page for Messages http://www.apple.com/feedback/messages.html

(the iChat one has also been updated but missed iChat 6).

NOTE.

iMessages are "pushed" as the processed is called to each devices uniquely.

This is based on the Serial Number of the Device as well as the Login info.

This effectively means the iMessages server "copies" the iMessages for each device you have registered.

The Server continue to push the iMessages even if the device is Off line until it accepts.

The "Sync" as Apple calls it is only "Display on All Devices" and nothing more meaning you do have to edit each device separately.

It might not be what you want but it is the way it works.

The Feedback links are a good way to suggest changes.
