I never noticed this on my iPhone 5s, but ever since I switched to my iPhone 6s ive noticed that I keep hanging up on people on a call by pressing the lock button. Is there any way to make the lock button not hang up calls? In my business we tend to pass the phone around quite a bit and its quite easy to accidentally hit the lock button while passing it.

No, the device and iOS are specifically designed that way - pressing the power button while on a call immediately disconnects the call.
Similarly, if the phone is ringing, one press of the power button will mute the ringer, and two quick presses dumps the call immediately to voice mail.
If you put it in speaker mode the Sleep button should turn off the screen but keep the phone call active.
I have pressed the power button to lock the phone while on a call for years. Now that I have the iPhone 6S I keep hanging up on people. This really *****, as I use the Bluetooth headset and like to turn off the screen when driving. Why did this change??
