I no longer can use find My Friends properly. It doesn't send invitations to follow.

I have used find My friends for several years with no trouble. Recently though, I removed my husband and then re-added him. It no longer works. He can't see me and I can't see him even though we have requested each other. No invite has been received by either of us.
