Can't login to 'Manage your Apple ID' page, getting 'Update Apple ID' notice

Everytime I want to login on appleid.apple.com, I'm asked to 'Update Apple ID'. I can't fill in any of my current alternate email addresses, and when I fill in a new made gmail address and fill in the code from a mail, nothing happens. I can still login to iCloud(.com) etc, nothing weird happens on my devices.

This problem started occurring when the design of the appleid.apple.com webpage was changed a few months ago.

Picture of what I get:

Yeah, but it's an @iCloud.com / @me.com address and that's not allowed. When I fill in my 'original' @hotmail.com address it says 'This email address is already being used as an alternate email address.' And like I said, creating a new Gmail and filling that in 'works', the page asks for a code I fill in but it just returns to the inlog screen and everything starts over again.
