keyboard not working after install

HI,

Just installed Mavericks on my Mac Pro, which did have Lion working.

Ran Clone prior to install.......

After finishing the keyboard and wireless mouse do not work.

Tried plugging Apple keyboard and Apple wired mouse (via keyboard) directly into front USB port and still nothing.

Shut down computer with long press on power key and restarted whilst trying to zap PRAM.

Keyboard still not recognised so unable to zap PRAM.

After several attempts computer now starts up with the recovery screen, none of which helps as keyboard and mouse still not working.

HELP!
