Q: My friend cannot send me a text. She has an iPhone 5 and I use a iPhone 6. She receives an error that she is not using a valid 10 digit #.

I sent her a text and she cannot reply to me without receiving the error -- invalid number - please us a valid 10 digit cell phone #. I know my number is valid, We deleted the contact in her phone and reentered it. No change. She can text others and so an I.

Hello Roundie11,

I understand that you are having an issue with receiving a message from your friend. Let's see if we can figure out what is going on.

The one troubleshooting step that I am not sure you have taken is have you deleted the conversations between each other. This would be a good place to start on both of you and your friend's iPhone. Take a look at the article below for more details.
