ipad 1 ios 5.1.1 will not allow me to install sirius app, how can i work around this

reset to factory an old ipad 1 only want to stream music on it > tried to download sirius thru the app store > you must up grade to ver 6.0 or higher> ver 6.0 does not support ipad 1


called sirius cant get a previous version


does anyone know how to work around this block ??

Unfortunately, if Sirius only provides an app that requires iOS 6 or higher, there isn't anything you can do. You can try this support document for obtaining compatible versions of apps, if it is available. Install the latest compatible version of an app on an earlier version of iOS or OS X - Apple Support


Otherwise, there isn't anything you can do. That is a decision by the app developer.
