How do I delete multiple sheets at once?

I have multiple sheets I need to delete. Is there a way to select multiple sheets and delete?

Imac, Mac OS X (10.5.6), 3.06 GHz, 4 GB DDR SDRAM

Hi Brit,

In Numbers '09, it's just like deleting multiple items of other types.

Select the items: Click on one of the sheets you want to delete, then command-click on the others in turn to add them to the selection.

Delete them: Press Delete, or go Edit > Delete.

Confirm the decision: You'll get a drop down dialogue asking "Are you sure…" Click Delete to confirm.

And they're gone.

I expect the process is similar in Numbers 3.

Sorry, but in Numbers 3, command click (or shift click or any other key combination I have tried) does not select multiple Sheets (Tabs). Each click simply moves the selection to another Tab.

Sad to say, you will have to delete one Sheet (Tab) at a time.

Is there another way to approach this problem?

For example, instead of deleting several Sheets, could you Copy Sheet and then Paste Sheet into a new document?

Ian.
