Wireless extender

Hello, I've to buy modem/router, most of them now are also wireless, can I use it to extend my wireless network managed by a gen4 extreme?

And in case, which router do u recommend?

If you have an AirPort Extreme now, and you want to wirelessly extend your network, then you will need another Apple product to be compatible with the AiPort Extreme. That would be an AirPort Express, AirPort Time Capsule, or another AirPort Extreme.
