Jan 13, 2016 6:16 AM in response to Shifii007by Duane,We are just users of Macs like you so we don't have any special powers.
Have you tried going to https://www.apple.com/support/applecare/register/ and then choosing your country in the lower right corner?
BTW, one interesting piece of text on that page says that "Your warranty is the same whether or not you register."

Jan 13, 2016 8:43 AM in response to Duaneby babowa,Yes, but that does not apply to the Applecare Protection Plan - it must be registered as it comes in a box which contains a piece of paper with the registration number. If you buy it along with hardware at an Apple store, it will be registered automatically; if you buy it separately, there is no way to associate it with a certain piece of hardware, so it needs to be done online/by phone. And, it has to be registered within the first year of warranty.
@ Shiffi:
If you purchased the Applecare Protection Plan in the US, then it is only valid in the US.
You can find some country specific information here:

Jan 13, 2016 8:55 AM in response to babowaby Duane, babowa, I agree with what you stated above. It is weird that the AppleCare Product Support page has this seemingly incorrect statement.

Jan 13, 2016 9:35 AM in response to Duaneby babowa,I've caught other seemingly contradictory statements before (especially regarding the required removal of the downloaded OS when selling a Mac); just looking at that page, my interpretation would be that they are referring to the regular one year warranty - which is true with any mfr: as long as you have the purchase receipt, you're fine. Of course, as with any legal terms, if you ask two attorneys to interpret them, you will get two possibly differing opinions....I've always bought my Applecare elsewhere as it is available online from authorized resellers at considerable savings; of course, Apple would not have a record of that, so it must be registered.
We don't know where the OP is located, where they bought the hardware and/or the Applecare, so that info would be needed to try to figure out why it is not working.

Jan 13, 2016 9:39 AM in response to Shifii007by babowa,I just checked the link I provided and Sri lanka is listed as an Applecare country.
So, where did you buy the device?
And, where did you buy the Applecare?

Jan 13, 2016 9:41 AM in response to babowaby Shifii007,Hi Babowa!
Thank you so much. i bought the iMac and the ACPP from Singapore but both separately.
I'm from Sri Lanka and my country is under the ACPP Support.
I have tried everything
best possible thing is to call Singapore directly know?

Jan 13, 2016 10:29 AM in response to Shifii007by babowa,I believe talking to the store or Apple would be the best thing as I am not familiar with the legalities involving different countries. You bought the Mac in Singapore, but live in Sri Lanka; computer hardware warranties are generally worldwide, but I do not know about the Applecare. If you call Apple, tell them you would like to register your Applecare plan. There is no rush as long as you are within the first year of purchase with the Mac since you are covered by the regular warranty (the only advantage during the first year is the free phone support with Applecare vs. only 90 days during the regular warranty period).
