use final cut express with el capitain

Hello I have the possibility to buy a new iMac (a present) and I hesitate to keep my iMac bought in 2009. But I have Final Cut Express in the old computer and I doubt that I could use FCE4 on the new computer. Should I keep the old one or there is a possibility to install FCE 4 with El Capitan? Thank you!
