Family sharing with IBooks

Does Ibooks have a familyshareing capability on mac?

I use family share on App Store on my mac and I also use it on my iPhone, Its smooth and I can also access my whole family book liberty through Ibooks on my phone. The problem is I cannot find the find the family access on the mac app ''Ibooks'' its layout is different than Appstore and perhaps I'm blind or it does not support the share feature.

When I look it up on google it only describes the process to access the shared ''Appstore'' liberty and as I said that works with no issue.

Please can someone describe how to find the family share feature in the Ibooks app.

From your question, I understand that you would like to download books from a Family Sharing account, but are unsure how to do so. We can help!

The first article below explains that you can indeed download purchases made from family members using Family Sharing.

Mac

Open the iTunes, iBooks, or Mac App Store and go to the Purchased page.

To the right of Purchased, select a family member's name to view their content.

Download or play the items that you want.

Share purchased content with Family Sharing - Apple Support

The next article shows in more detail where the Purchased page is located in iBooks on your Mac, so that you can access this content.

On a Mac or PC

Open iBooks.

Click iBooks Store.

If prompted, sign in with your Apple ID and password.

Under Quick Links on the right side of the iBooks Store, click Purchased.

Select Not in My Library to view purchased content that isn't on your computer.

Scroll to find the book that you want to download.

Click the Download icon in the upper-right corner of the item you want to download. Your book downloads to your library.
If a book is already in your library, the Download icon won't appear.
