I can't login into iMessage on my Macbook Pro

Hi there

I'm trying to login into my iMessage on my MacBook pro and i can't.

  • I have tried turning icloud service off completely and turn back on and that didn't work.
  • I tried with a different iTunes account and it doesn't work.
  • I also tested login back into iTunes or the mac app store and it works it seems the only problem is login in on iMessage or Facetime.

My iMessage works perfect on my iPhone, iPad and iMac but for some strange reasoni can't login on this computer.

I'm running a Macbook Pro Retina MId 2014

Intel iris pro 1536 mb

On MAC OX EL Captitan 10.11.12

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

Log in using the directions below:

Link your iPhone number and Apple ID to use iMessage and FaceTime - Apple Support

Get started on your Mac

To link your phone number to iMessage or FaceTime:

  1. Open the Messages or FaceTime app.
  2. Sign in with the same Apple ID that you use on your iPhone.
  3. Select the phone number and email addresses that you want to be reached at.

After you sign in to iMessage or FaceTime on your Mac, your iPhone will get a notification saying that your Apple ID and iPhone are now being used with iMessage or FaceTime on your Mac. You’ll get a notification for every email address or phone number that you enable on each additional device.

Learn about connecting your devices to send and receive messages.

I hope this answers your question.

Best regards,

Austin
