Q: Pictures from classic Ipod to new laptopI

I lost about 5 years of pictures when my laptop crashed. But I have them on my I-pod which is no longer able to sync with I-Tunes. Is there a way to download those pictures from my I-pod onto new laptop?

Yes. Is Disk Mode enabled on the iPod? When it's connected to iTunes, you should see a checkbox for that on the Summary screen.

Unless you transferred the originals your device may only hold low resolution copies which are not easily extracted.
