Q: Iphone 5s

I Was visiting family in the uk then pop in to car phone warehouse and purchased an iphone when I came back to the netherlands put my vodafone nl sim in and says phone is locked, they told me what ever sim you put in first it locks to that sim, help please

    The iPhones sold at Carphone Warehouse are not a truly unlocked phone. They will lock to the first SIM placed into the device. As far as them working with SIM cards from outside of the UK, I don't know that they will work. You would need to check with Carphone Warehouse, or someone from the UK will need to respond here. From what I've read here, they are not the best place to purchase a phone that you are not going to use outside of the UK.

    As Chris says I suspect you'll need to contact Carphone Warehouse. However if you purchased the phone outright and there is no contract or subsidy involved then whichever carrier it is currently locked to ought to release it if asked.
