I am new to Garage Band for ios but loving all the tools for arranging & composing it provides. I do have an issue that I can't work around at the moment. If I include 7th chords of some description in the custom chords set up menu, it doesn't sound like a 7th at all during auto play. I have tried this in various ways and found, for example, that a D major plays exactly the same as the D 7th. I have changed the autoplay arpeggiating configurations from 1 to 4 to see if I can catch that elusive flattened 7th note, but nope, it keeps running through just the 3 notes of the major triad.
Can any one tell me if there is a step that I am missing or is it just an inherent limitation in the system ?
