Hi,
Why is the Regulatory Setting missing on some iPads and not others? To find Regulatory you go to Setting>General>Regulatory but on some iPads the Regulatory setting is not shown. I noticed other forum user asking a similar question but all go unanswered.

Settings > General > Regulatory displays regulatory marks.
Here is what it displays for my iPhone (in the U.S.):
As you can see, the regulatory marks displayed apply to some (but not all) countries. I imagine iOS devices for these other countries do not have this display available in Settings.
It may also depend on what iOS the iPads are on. On iOS 9 Settings>General>Regulatory is visible, while in prior iOS versions you needed to go to Settings > General > About > Legal > Regulatory. You can see the older iPhone manuals here: Apple - Support - Manuals

Thanks for your reply. The Regulatory setting is missing under Setting>General on an iPad purchased in the USA. In my iPad Class four students have iPads without Regulatory. On my personal iPad I have the same display shown in your reply. Other iPad users on this forum have reported having a missing Regulatory setting. So far no one has responded. Can you dig further to see if yoiu can the answer.
I will not "dig further", but I will advise how you can.
Have the folks check their iPad model number (on the back cover) and perhaps you can find some correlation between model numbers and missing Regulatory setting.

Your answer explains what is taking place. I know for certain the four students that did not install the latest iOS update were the ones that did not see Regulatory.
